Aaron James McAdams, age 41, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 1, 2023, after a sudden medical emergency.
He is survived by life partner, Amanda Howard; daughters Lilly and Ryah McAdams; Amanda’s sons Kenny and Connor Howard; parents Jim and Sue (Greenland) McAdams; sisters Kelly (Joe) Reichert and Kim (Dave) Troutner; and best friend and business partner Nate Flowers. Born October 9, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio, Aaron attended Worthington Schools. Aaron was proficient in Tae Kwon Do, and won many tournament competitions as a young person. He also received his pilot’s license, making his first solo flight as a teenager. As an entrepreneur, Aaron owned and operated Arden James LLC, an independent flooring company where Aaron specialized in intricate tile designs.
Always a foodie, Aaron loved to cook and regularly presented his family with delicious creations from various cultures. He also loved music and concerts; his girls have many happy memories surrounding songs and shows they shared together. Aaron was interested in tropical fish and plants, and very successfully raised them for many years. As a collector, Aaron accumulated an impressive array of beautiful art pins and vintage vinyl, and had many friends in the online trading community. His knowledge, talent and humor will be missed by all.
A visitation for Aaron will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, as well as on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM just prior to a funeral service at noon.
