McLRAVY Jeane W. McLravy, age 89, of Columbus, Ohio, was welcomed into the presence of her Saviour on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Prior to her 64 years of marriage to John McLravy, she was employed as an executive secretary at the Western Electric in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Edna Wallney, her brother Harley, her sister Joyce, and her daughter Susan Baxter. She will be greatly missed by her husband, John; her children, Janet Dawson, Nancy (Dale) Ellis, Sandy (Bill) Chandler, and Jeff (Jennifer) McLravy; as well as her 11 grandchildren, Jenny, Jill, Jeanne, Elizabeth, Rick, Phil, Matthew, Laura, Michael, Grant, and Brianna; and ten great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Morton High School in Cicero, IL and a long-time resident of Worthington, OH. She greatly loved her Lord and Saviour, and for many years actively served at Calvary Bible Church in Clintonville where she was known for gracious hospitality and her impact on the lives of the many children she taught in Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. The funeral service will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 3865 N. High St. at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 13. Calling hours for friends and family will be Friday from 4-6 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH as well as from 9-10 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
