Rhonda Rice, age 59, of Delaware, OH, answered God’s call on August 8th, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary and Robert Rice. She is survived by her brothers, Richard A. Rice, Ronald E. Rice; and nephews, Ryan A. Rice and Ronald H. Rice. Rhonda was a graduate of Olentangy High, Class of 79. She was voted best car with her yellow Monza. She continued to be active with her alumni and even was a key figure in coordinating her class reunions. After high school she obtained a degree in Business Management. She put her degree to use as a successful licensed real estate agent with Genoa Realty. Rhonda was also a strong link in her family business, Central Pump and Supply, which was built up from a home business to a huge enterprise with many satellite offices and warehouses. She was long time member of Genoa Baptist Church where she also worked to support the church and where she produced the weekly bulletin and the memorial folders for members of the congregation that has passed. Rhonda loved travel and even made it a goal to visit every state. Rhonda was also the family genealogist and did extensive research into the family history. Rhonda also had an eye for architecture and redecorated her homes many times. Rhonda had a special place in her heart for her nephews, Ryan and Ronald, and was actively involved in their lives growing up. Rhonda also deeply loved her parents. For both of her beloved parents, she lived with and stayed by their sides in their final months. Rhonda had many special friends several of which she has had for most of her life, Lindley, Kim, Steve, and Jeff just to name a few. A special thanks to Rhonda’s friends and caregivers that did so much for her in her later years, especially Ernie who made her life so much better!
