Sally Richards Schmuck passed peacefully on to her Lord and Savior on September 2, 2018. Born on September 23, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio, she is the daughter of the late John and Eileen Richards. She was a graduate of North High School in 1951 and The Ohio State University in 1955 with a degree in elementary education. She was married to Richard Schmuck on December 28, 1955. Sally taught kindergarten at Clintonville elementary School and later was a devoted stay-at-home mother for their three children, David, Diane, and Karen. She was active in Pleasure Guild and Childhood League and various children's ministries at Grace Polaris Church of Westerville, of which she was a long time committed member. She was a dedicated participant in Bible Study Fellowship and hosted a weekly Moms of Teens Bible study in her home for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Richards. Sally is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Schmuck, and their three children and spouses to include David and Sandy Schmuck of Naperville, IL, Diane and Ralph Thacker of Livermore, KY, and Karen and Jack Schmidt of Doylestown, PA; six grandchildren to include Bryan (Megan) Thacker of Cynthiana, KY, Stephanie Thacker (Dustin) Geraci of Hopkinsville, KY, Lauren (Zack) Pierce of Chicago, IL, Ryland Bogart of Chicago, IL, Evan Bogart of Chicago, IL, and Adam Bogart of Kansas City, Kansas; and one great granddaughter Kaylee Thacker of Cynthiana, KY.
