SEMANS Thomas Benson Semans, 81, of Worthington, died Thursday, April 19, 2007. He was a graduate of Delaware Willis High School, attended Ohio Wesleyan University and The Ohio State University where he received his B.S. in Business Administration. He was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII. He was an Eagle Scout and assistant Scout Master with troop #365, an active member of the Worthington United Methodist Church, Downtown Lions Club, Kilbourne Dance Club, Hoover Yacht Club, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, a Little League baseball coach and a fundraiser and supporter for the Ohio State School for the Blind. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane and his parents Dr. William Oliver and Grace Semans. He is survived by his children, Cinda (Gregory) Semans Shumaker, Thomas Philip (Ann) Semans, Wendy (James) Semans Miehls; 10 grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher, and Wendy Shumaker, Emily, Thomas Benson, and Benjamin Semans, Mary, James, Joseph, and Grace Miehls; brother, William Merrick (Barbara) Semans; sister, Susie (Jerry) Semans Kneubel. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of I-270). Funeral service will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 N. High St., with burial to follow in Flint Cemetery.
