Rouhangiz (Rouhi) Eiman Shams of Dublin, Ohio, passed away at 8:42 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at home in Dublin surrounded by her family and friends and their messages of love and affection. She was born to Mohammad and Nooshafarin Eiman on March 5, 1930 in Iran, the fifth of thirteen children. She married the love of her life, Kazem Shams in 1950. The two love birds lived together for the rest of their lives until a year ago when her husband passed on. The fruits of their marriage are four children, Daria Shams, Roya Shams Daneshmand, Hamid Shams and Farid Shams who all reside in Dublin, Ohio. Although she was always surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her son-in-law and her daughters-in-law and was constantly showered with their unconditional love, the loss of her beloved husband just a year ago, was too much for her to bear and she could never accept a life without her loving husband. So, on Tuesday night she finally flew away to join him. She made us all heart-broken with her departure, but we know how she missed our father and how she longed to rejoin him in eternity. We love and miss you both Mom and Dad. Unfortunately, with the present pandemic it is not possible for us to hold a service for our mother; we will have a remembrance gathering for her when the circumstances permit. Our mother is survived by her four children: Daria, Roya, Hamid and Farid and their spouses: Mohammad, Mitra and Nazee; her grandchildren: Shiva, Sara, Shayda, Darius, Shahrzad, Omid and Navid and many loving relatives and friends.
