Smith Richard Allen Smith, age 51, of Delaware, was unexpectedly called home to be with his Lord Thursday, April 30, 2015. Richard was born in Berea, Ohio and grew up in the Pickerington, Ohio area, son of Robert M. and Patricia A. Smith. Richard was a gregarious man who had a jovial personality and a keen knack for story telling. He discovered fishing at an early age, aggressively pursing the challenge while experiencing the peace and tranquility of the moment. He loved being outdoors and appreciated and admired the natural beauty of God's creation. The Wednesday morning Bible studies he attended with coworkers were a time of growth and sharing that he enjoyed. Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mikelann Smith. He will be greatly missed by his sons, Nathanael (Amanda) and Joshua (Andrea) Smith; parents, Robert and Patricia Smith; sister, Susan (Darell) Duncan; brothers, Christopher and Jonathan Smith; and other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, May 8 at Grace Church, 7600 Liberty Rd., Powell, where family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service. Rev.
