Martha Lynn Swift passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, September 27, 2018. Born on Friday, January 19,1942 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Wilfred Alfred and Elma Berle Southan. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Edward Swift; daughter-in-law, Robin; and son-in-law, Jeffrey. Survived by her brother, David Lee (Marti) Southan; children, Eric Dean Swift, Lisa Gay Zidar, David Michael (Christy) Swift, Suzanne Elizabeth (Jarrod) Flack, Deanna Lynn Duke, Stephen Edward (Erxis) Swift; and deeply beloved grandchildren, John, Drew, Katie, Addison, Mara, Charlie, Colin, Beatrice and Dylan. Martha, also known as "Mom Swift" in the Clintonville Community, extended her love to anyone and everyone who stepped foot into her home of nearly 50 years on East Schreyer Place. Martha's legacy will be that she embraced and demonstrated the notion that it truly takes a community to create a healthy and wholesome environment to raise a family.
