Lorna Leah Williamson, 58, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Worthington, passed away Saturday evening, April 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on July 6, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Larry T. and Delores A. (Dotson) Woutersz. Lorna graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1977. She was a faithful member of the Vineyard Church of Knox County. Lorna was Master Gardner and had volunteered at the AmeriFlora Show in Columbus. She enjoyed playing coed soccer well into her 50's, cooking, photography, karate and raising chickens. Lorna is survived by her loving husband, John, whom she married on August 19, 1995; daughter, Courtny L. (Fletcher) Brown of Mount Vernon; step daughter, Rebecca (Zac) Teater of Suwanee, GA; step grandchildren, Gabriel, Samuel and Chloe; sister, Lisa (Dan) Shank of Dorset; brother, Lee (Britta) Woutersz; and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Rd., Mount Vernon. A funeral service celebrating Lorna's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Vineyard Church of Knox County, 806 Harcourt Rd, Mount Vernon with Pastor Greg Weyrich officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church. A committal service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 in Flint Cemetery, Worthington.
