CASUALTY. Worthington, April.22, 1854. Messrs. Editors A fatal and melancholy accident occurred here yesterday, under the following circumstances: Dr. D. W. Skinner had a two horse wagon loaded with goods, to take to the C C. & C. R.R. Depot at Columbus. His horses became impatient about the time he was to start. He took a seat on a box in a hurried manner, and before he had time to adjust the reins and place himself securely in his seat, the horses started and ran into the ditch beside the road, throwing him from the wagon in such a manner that his head came under the forward wheel of the wagon, which passed over it, killing him instantly. He leaves a wife and one child to mourn his sudden and melancholy death.
