ADKINS Maxine Conklin Adkins, age 82, of Westerville, went to heaven on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at New Albany Care Center. Worked for AT&T, formerly Western Electric for 20 years. Preceded in death by her husbands Ossie Adkins and Pete Lisk, granddaughter Traci Adkins, siblings Harold Conklin, Marion Williams, Pauline Williams, Dick Conklin and her parents. Survived by her children, Kathy Stewart, Roy (Janice) Adkins, Polly (Jim) Magee, Karen (Vince) Golden, Dale Adkins, Ossie Adkins, Bill (Leigh) Lisk; grandchildren, Marshelle, Bridget, Andi, Ben, Chris, Stephanie, Nicole, Reb, Tera, Tina, Tyler, Cody, Sierra, Max and the future Baby Lisk; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; brothers, Bill (Dee) Conklin and Ed (Ruth) Conklin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Maxine previously lived at Worthington of Gahanna Retirement Home. She enjoyed baking, dancing, and dressing up as a clown to bring happiness to others. Most of all she was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday. Burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
