Sarah A. Anderson, age 70, of Columbus, Sunday, October 20, 1996 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Blarney Village, County Cord, Ireland and was brought to Staten Island, N.Y. in September 1926. Graduated from St. Peter's High School, was married to Kenneth Anderson Sr. on June 9, 1946 and moved to Ohio shortly thereafter. She enjoyed many activities but, in particular, was a skilled quilter and made for her family members many unique quilts. She worked for the former Lawson's Stores for 17 years, and in recent years has been home due to illness. Preceded in death by children Donna and Colin. Survived by her husband of 50 years Kenneth A. Anderson Sr.; her children Karen (Kurt), Kenny (Kim), Connie (David), Steven (Nancy), Evelyn (Carl), William (Wendy) and Maureen (Howard); 21 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fr. Patrick, Charles, William andJohn Walsh; sisters, Hannah Hine, Bridget Tonn, Margaret DelBagno and Mary Tanachion; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday October 23, 1996 at St. James the Less Church, Columbus, Oh., 1652 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Prayer service 3:30 p.m. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Central Ohio Lung Association in her memory.
