Marjorie Dee Ashton, age 93, of Buchanan, Michigan, formerly of Worthington, died Saturday, December 25, 1999 in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Mrs. Ashton was born September 11, 1906 in Stoneham, Ma. To Daniel K. and Alice (Greene) Nicola. She had moved to buchanan fourteen years ago. She was a member of Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andres University, in Berrien Springs. Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband J. Wilton Ashton. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Rilla (Morris) Taylor, of Buchanan, MI.; sons, Dr. Nicola (Ethel) Ashton of Salt Lake City, UT., and Dr. Bruce (Leila) Ashton of Collegedale, TN.; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at Worthington Seventh Day Adventist Church, 870 Griswold St., Worthington. Pastor Loren Seibold officiating.
