Audrey Gayle Badertscher, of Worthington, quietly passed away October 4, 2011 with her family lovingly holding her hands as she held theirs for so many years. She was born March 26, 1925 in Kenton, Ohio. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Badertscher. Audrey leaves behind her children: Bobbie (Jack) Swearengin, Susan Badertscher (Jim Smith), Kurt (Kerrie) Badertscher, and Ann (Terry) Frasher. She loved her grandchildren: Tina Swearengin, Dan Swearengin, Ally Zimmerman, Dave Frasher, Kyle Badertscher, Madison Shelton and great-grandchildren Mya, Lyla, Hannah and Connor, who all gave her the happiest moments of the last years of her life. Audrey married the love of her life, Bob, and devoted her life to him, her children and grandchildren. Audrey was a great cook, enjoyed baking for her family and friends and was happiest when working in her flower gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy Street (Powell Rd./St. Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy) Powell, Ohio 43065. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audrey's memory to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
