BAUER Willis "Bill" E. Bauer, 84, of Worthington, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004. Member of Worthington Christian Church. World War II U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran. Member of VFW #2398 and the American Legion. Retired School Teacher, Worthington Schools. Member Columbus Puppetry Guild, Puppeteers of America, International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians. Survived by wife of 55 years, Dorothy; daughters, Christine (Don) Earnhart of Lebanon, Oh. and Robin (Dennis) Sheehan of Worthington; grandchildren, Claire, Mark and Kathleen; many relatives and friends. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington (3 blocks South of S.R. 161), where friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday with a VFW Post #2398 Service at 7 p.m. Thursday. Dr. Marshall Hayden and Rev. James Dempsey officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
