Asa A. Beavers Sr., age 98, Thursday November 7, 1996 at Rosegate Care Center. Owned and operated Beavers & Horn Markets in Columbus for 50 years. Former member of Scioto Country Club and the Athletic Club of Columbus. Survived by beloved wife of 63 years, Martha Richwine Beavers; daughter Marilyn White- leather of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; son Asa (Patricia) Beavers, Jr. of Powell, OH.; grandchildren, Asa (Anne) Beavers III, Alan (Teresa) Beavers, Craig (Mary Beth) White- leather, Lynne Whiteleather, Susan Whiteman; dear friend, Rhea Fedler. Also sadly missing "Grampy" are 9 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 1996 at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home 403 E. Broad St., where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Chaplain Steve Rice officiating.
