Bennett Carolyn Scatterday Bennett, age 75, of Dublin and formerly of Worthington, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at her home. Carolyn was a graduate of Worthington High School and a Shaklee Distributor. Preceded in death by her parents Dr. Lon and Mary (McKitrick) Scatterday, and sister Marylon Alexander. Survived by her sons, Tom and Lloyd Bennett; nephews, Andrew (Rachel) Alexander and Gill (Marsha) Alexander; great nieces and nephew, Isabel, Calle and Will Alexander. Carolyn was a longtime member of Brookside Country Club. She was also a member of the Christian Women's Club, Indian Run United Methodist Church and Worthington Chapter No. 287, Order of the Eastern Star. Carolyn was an avid tennis player and fan, as well as many charitable endeavors. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Potter Chapel of the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 with Rev. David Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
