Member of Leasure Blackston Post #239, Worthington, V.F.W. Post in Brownsburg, Ind. Also member of Columbus Chipers. Past President of Circle City Woodcarvers, Indianapolis, Society of Indian Pioneers and various Genealogical Societies. Preceded in death by brother Charles W. Boggs. Survived by wife, Helen E. (Riegel); son, John R. (Carol) Boggs of Tallmadge, Oh., daughters, Mrs. Rick (Deborah) Mock of Pickerington, Oh., Mrs. W. Douglas (Delores) Crabb of Montara, Calif., Mrs. Kenneth (Jennifer) Curry of Indianapolis, Ind.; 7 grandchildren; brothers David E. Boggs of Orange, Calif., William L. Boggs of Moundsview, Minn.; sisters, Jacqueline P. Poe of Columbus and Darla Jo Askegard of St. Paul, Minn. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, September 20, 1993 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Dr. Kline Roberts, III officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Masonic service 8 p.m. Sunday. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
