BROWN Geraldine Brown, 93, of Worthington, died Saturday, December 3, 2005 at The Laurels of Worthington. Known to her friends as "Gerry", she was a long time resident of Worthington, Ohio. Born near Waverly, Ohio, Gerry was the oldest survivor of six siblings. She is preceded in death by husband Lawrence C. Brown in 1973, owner of a business in Worthington and Chief of the Sharon Township Fire Department (1956-1960). Geraldine was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church and a longtime resident and manager of Stafford Village Retirement Community (1982-1994). Survived by sons, Lawrence R. of Worthington, William M. (Miriam) of Columbus, and Ron Brown of Englewood, Colorado; six grandchildren, David, Vicky (DL) Dawson, Steve (Sue) Brown, Sandy (David) Signorino, Jennifer Bynes, Jeff (Ann) Brown; numerous great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, 614-885-4006, where family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
