Jean Betty Browning, age 55, Thursday, University Hospital after a long illness. Survived by husband, Robert L; sons, Gregory, David and Peter; daughter, Lisa Anne Browning; also survived by mother, Mrs. Guy S. Beatty; sister, Mrs. James (Doris) Morrow, both of Meadville, Pa. Active in various church and community groups. Member and officer of the Worthington Women's Club, Activity Club, D.E. Chapter of the P.E.O., United Methodist Women, Worthington United Methodist Church. Before marriage she was employed at Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa. And Scudder, Stevens and Clark, of New York City. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to a memorial fund in her name at Worthington United Methodist Church. A family service will be held Saturday afternoon at WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 North High Street. Memorial service will be held at Worthington United Methodist Church Sunday, July 31 at 3 p.m. Private interment Monday Walnut Grove Cemetery.
