CATO Jeannette Louise Cato, age 89, of Columbus, died peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Laurels of Worthington with her daughter by her side. Graduate of Columbus North High School. Member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Lifetime member of the Guildsof Doctors Hospital, and recognized for her thousands of hours of volunteer service. A wonderful and kind person and avid Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by husband Dr. E. Ted Cato, brother Richard Baer. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bob Hale; son, Lance Cato; granddaughter, Ryan; one great-grandson; brother, Arthur Baer. Graveside Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohio Health Foundation, directed to Doctors Hospital, at www.ohiohealth.com/foundation or to Cat Welfare at www.catwelfareohio.com in Jeannette's memory. Debbie would like to thank the staff at the Laurels of Worthington, where Jeannette lived the past 4 years, for their love and care.
