Theodore D. Clagett, age 85, of Westerville, died Tuesday, January 30, 1996 at The Wendt-Bristol Center. Retired Engineering Manager for Ohio Bell Telephone. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Gladys Swickard Clagett; son, Richard Clagett of Miami, Fla. And daughter and son-in-law, Marianne and Carl Ross of Westerville; grandchildren, Tim and Amiee Hunt and Matthew and Benjamin Ross; great-grandson, Stephen; sister, Sarah Dennis Toronto, Oh. Mr. Clagett was a member of the Worthington United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of New England Lodge No 4 F&AM. Past President of Telephone Pioneers. Past President of Triangle Club. Life member, Representative-Ohio Valley Chapter, Telephone Pioneers of America. Field Marshall for the Memorial Tournament, Volunteer at Red Cross Blood Bank. Serviced for many years as a precinct voter judge and for 30 years coordinated the telecommunications systems for The Ohio State University football teams. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (1/2 mile S. of I-270), where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 2, 1996. Rev. Robert Chiles officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. New England Lodge will conduct service Thursday at 8 p.m.
