COLLINS Luella S. Collins, age 102, of Columbus died Monday Nov. 11, 2002 at home. A retired seamstress for J.C. Penney Co. after many years. Luella was born Dec. 14, 1899 in Belleville (Wood County), W. Va. to the late Lucretia Jane Mills and John Adam Seebaugh. The last of twelve siblings, Luella is preceded in death by her husband Roy Collins and son Jim Collins. She is survived by her daughter, Bert Davis of Newark; granddaughters, Bonnie (Ken) Noble of Utica, Shirley Vandergriff of Newark and Jane Collins of Columbus; grandson, Brad (Rosemary) Davis of Pataskala; 8 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; nieces, Helen Hunt and family of Worthington, Betty Pearson and family of Columbus; and many friends. Luella was a member of North Baptist Church for many years. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St. Worthington 614-885-4006 where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 16, 2002. Pastor Owen Stewart officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
