Jim Cormany passed away suddenly, Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was born November 19, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to James A. and Ruth (Clark) Cormany. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorie Keys Cormany. He is preceded in death by his father, James A. Cormany. Jim was a loving and devoted husband. He was a true American. Jim was an active member of the American Legion, SAL, Post 239, in Worthington. Jim was a kind, gentle, honorable man of few words. He was loyal to his family and friends, with a wonderful sense of humor and always took time to listen or lend a helping hand. Jim was passionate about his dogs and willing to care for any stray animal. He was an avid sports enthusiast. His favorite teams were the Wolverines, Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears. He graduated from West High School and attended Franklin University. After retiring from a career in Logistics and Distribution, Jim enjoyed working at Ace Hardware in Worthington. Jim is survived by his mother, Ruth Cormany; daughter, Selena (Chris) Felts; sisters Cathy (Warren) Palmer, Sally (David) Conley; brothers Michael (Sharon), Mark; grandchildren, Kelsey and Andrew; sister-in-law, Linda Parks; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends and family may call 4-7 PM, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington, Ohio.
