Elizabeth A. "Betty" Davis, age 96, formerly of Columbus, died Friday, March 3, 2000 at her home at Deupree Terrace in Cincinnati. Born July 17, 1903 in Columbus, to the late John T. and Sarah Wellwood Davis. Betty was a secretary for Grange Mutual Casualty Company for many years. She is survived by her great-nieces, Judy Chamberlain of Cincinnati, Deborah Fish of Burtonsville, MD, Carol Carnes of Poland, OH, Betsy Brager of Girard, OH; great-nephew, John Wilson of Dayton. Betty was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, Worthington Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. If they choose, friends may make memorial contributions to St. James Episcopal Church, 3400 Calumet St. Columbus, OH 43214 or a charity of one's choice, in Betty's memory.
