Doris I. Davison, age 84, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. Doris was born on June 12, 1932, at home, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clarence Earl and Frances Ilo (Nutt) Chesser. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hugh Davison and children, Patricia Sue and Phillip Howard Davison. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Janice Galloway Taft, son-in-law Mariner Taft, grandson Douglas Taft, niece Teri Williams and nephews Marc Hoffman, John Hoffman, David Harsh and Dan Harsh. Doris was a graduate of Worthington High School, class of 1950. She worked as an executive secretary to the assistant treasurer for the now Columbia Gas of Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart Paul on March 20, 1954. Doris resided in Duluth, Georgia for 31 years before returning to Columbus in October 2015. She was a resident of Sunrise of Bexley until her passing. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL.
