Mary Lou Smith Dill (89) went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2017. She was the youngest daughter of Henry L. and Mary Ann Smith who preceded her in death along with sisters, Audrey, Emmagene and Annabel. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Dill (93) and is the beloved mother of Carol Meehan, Nancy (Chuck) Curley, Linda (Mark) Egan and Ronald (Ann) Dill. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren: Ben (Christina) Meehan, Blair (Jim) Everett, Joe (Kristin) Meehan, Megan (Mike) Scherer, Luke (Michelle) Egan, George Dill, Ian Dill, Carolyn (Nate) Wallenga and Hannah Dill. She was blessed with 13 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bronson, Rylee, Aidan, Patrick & Kendall Meehan; Rowan & Griffin Everett; Grady & Delaney Egan; Liam & Payton Wallenga, Elliott Scherer and many nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was born August 22, 1927 on Short Street in Worthington, Ohio. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1945. She lived in Cuyahoga Falls with her young family for 12 years before returning to Worthington in 1965. Mary Lou was a realtor for several years. She enjoyed her many friends, neighbors and colleagues. She was a life time member of Worthington United Methodist Church and served on several committees. Mary Lou belonged to Eastern Star and volunteered at the Cancer Thrift Shop. Friends may call 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St., Worthington, Ohio. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington, Ohio. Contributions to Worthington United Methodist Church may be made in her honor.
