Olive J. "Ollie" Durfey, 85, formerly of Liberty Road, died Wednesday (June 27, 2001) at Wintersong Village Nursing Facility. The last of seven children, she was born August 14, 1915, in Delaware, to Catherine (Miller) Owen and George Owen. Mrs. Durfey was a life-time Delaware County resident. She was a former member of Worthington Presbyterian Church and was a member for more than 50 years of Ostrander Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Bowen of Delaware; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Kay Durfey, of Delaware; four granddaughters, Julie Wise, Lori Bay, Michelle Vineyard, and Jill Bowen; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Her husband, Wendell died in 1976. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., with the Revs. Jeff Wise and Cindy Berkshire officiating.
