Major Richard English, Retired US Army Special Forces, born January 23, 1968 Columbus, Ohio died September 1, 2014 in Portland, Oregon University Hospital from cancer. He was active in duty in the Army from 1988 until January 2014. When he retired, he received many honors and awards for his service to his country from the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Zhara Zwerling-English and her family; mother Grace English; many cousins. Proceed in death by his father Richard English, Sr. who died on January 22, 1974 and his grandparents. Memorial service was held at Ft. Lewis, WA on Friday, September 5, 2014. Pending another memorial service in Charleston, WV at David Creek Church of the Nazarene at a later date.
