Viola A. Fields, age 80, 897 Morning St., Worthington, Saturday, Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Lawrence and daughter, Elizabeth Maude Reynolds. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, William A. (Pete) and Hazel Fields, Lawrence P. (Pete) and Rosanna Fields, both of Worthington; daughters, Margaret Ann Fields, Toledo, Mary Frances Fields, at home; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; foster-granddaughter, Linda Gibson; many other foster-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Sarah Anderson, Columbus; 3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law. 2 nieces; a host of friends. Member of St. John's A.M.E. Church, 682 Plymouth St., Worthington, where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Active in missionary work at the church. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Body will lie in state one hour prior to service time.
