FINNERAN Martha Jane Warnock Finneran, 90, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 in Mount Vernon, OH. She was born April 27, 1916 in Toledo, OH, grew up in Bucyrus, OH, and graduated from Bucyrus High School, Class of '33. Jane was a loving wife and homemaker for 64 years to her husband, George, and a devoted mother to 5 children before whom she personified Christian love, grace, encouragement, and good works. She was a 37 year member of The Lord of Life Lutheran Church, where she served in the choir, Sunday School staff, Church Coucil, and many auxillary committees. Her liturgical banners graced the sanctuary for many years, assisting worshippers to focus their attention on "things above". In addition, she earned two degrees from the Ohio State University and taught Art, Sculpture, and fine Graphics at The Ohio State University and Capital University. She was also a past member of The Worthington Chapter of Daughters of The American Revolution, Worthington quilters club, and Buckeye Wanderfreunde Walking club. She is preceded in death by her parents Mabel (Inman) Warnock and Cline William Warnock, brothers Marcus M, and Cline William Warnock Jr. Survived by her loving husband, George D. Finneran; daughter, Kathleen (Harvey) Evans of Tinton Falls, NJ; sons, Michael(Susan) Finneran of Mount Vernon, OH, Terry (Theresa) Finneran and Todd(Waree) Finneran both of Columbus, OH; daughter, Molly (John) Gamertsfelder of Johnstown, OH; sister, Ann Mumford of Richmond, IN; and brother, James Warnock of Whitehouse, OH; 13 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; and 6 nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Anna Jane Hamilton of Warren, MI. Friends may visit THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME BEECHWOLD-CLINTONVILLE CHAPEL, 4341 N. High St. Columbus, OH (1 block S. of Henderson) Wednesday 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2006 10:30 a.m., with visitation 30 minutes prior at The Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 2480 West Dublin Granville Rd., Worthington, OH 43085.
