Vonna E. Fissel, 96 of Columbus, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday August 18, 2017 at Crown pointe Care Center. She was born April 17, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry and Adelaide Bilikam. Vonna was a longtime member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church, TWIG and the Ohio Child Conservation League. Vonna enjoyed meeting new people at her job as a product demonstrator at the Kroger Company working up to the young age of 85. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; brothers and sister in laws, Ronald (Mary Alice) Bilikam, Richard (Erma) Bilikam, brother in law and sister in law, Kenneth (Dorothy) Poole, sister in law, Louise Fissel. Survived by her daughters, Diane and Jodie Fissel, grandson, Nathan Fissel. Many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St (1/2 mile south of 270). Funeral service will be held 10:00am Thursday at The Maple Grove United Methodist Church 7 W. Henderson Rd. Columbus, OH. Rev. Glenn Schwerdtfeger officiating.
