Ruth Lavaun Fontaine, age 77, of Worthington, was welcomed into the presence of her Holy Father on October 12, 1995. She was born March 22, 1918, the only daughter of Clifford and Hattie Chrislip Hart of Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born again of the Spirit, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in August 1976. She was the widow of John Howard Longhenry and recent widow of Raleigh Eugene Fontaine. She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Katy) Lavonne Lyon of Columbus and Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, J. Scott and Laura Lyon of Logan, Daniel S. And Kerry Lyon of Mt. Gilead. Also survived by beloved niece, Cindy Kerschner of Columbus; and numerous other nieces and nephews, cousins and many dear and faithful friends. Ruth was a member of Orange Road Friends Church, Friendship Class Sunday School and Linden Heights Chapter #463 OES. Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was her favorite mission. Affectionately known as "Me-Me" by her grandchildren. Ruth truly lived and at last departed this earth with grace and dignity. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St., Worthington, (1/2 mile S. of I-270), where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday October 14, 1995.
