Ceola Hall, age 89, was called home Tuesday April 11, 1995. Ceola was a lifetime resident of Columbus. She had compassion for many people and dedicated her later years to volunteering at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She received the Mayors Award for outstanding volunteer service at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. It was there she always had a comforting word, a ready smile and a special kindness for all she came in contact with. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth. Sadly missed by her daughter, Miriam Hoebel; granddaughters, Lora and Martha Evans; great-grandchildren, Brett, Amanda, Emilee, Sarah and Alex; sister, Louise (Charles) Smith; sister-in-law, Blanche (Harold) Ellis. Friends may call at Jerry Spears, 2693 W. Broad St., Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Gerald Koster officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
