Heinbaugh J. Edward (Ed) Heinbaugh, age 83, of Worthington, OH died October 17, 2014 at Sunrise Assisted Senior Living. Born May 10, 1931 in Oakland, Maryland to the late Mary and Edward H. (Ted) Heinbaugh. Graduated from Canton Lincoln High School in 1949 and from The Ohio State University in 1954 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Served as an Officer in the United States Air Force from 1954-1956. He was employed by North American Rockwell/Boeing for thirty-five years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Julia (Julie) H. Heinbaugh; daughters, Janice (James) Hylton of Center Village, Susan Heinbaugh (Steve Huzicko) and Terri Holstein (J.D. Martin) of Worthington, Paula (David) Ritchie of Westerville and Judith (Ray) Siens of Columbus; sister, Mary Kay (Terry) Morris of Massillon; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Timothy, Joshua, Corrine, Matthew, Emmalee, Kenneth, Chloe and Clay; and their families which include nine great-grandchildren; two nieces, Beth Spaude, Lora Wenger and families. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street (U.S. 23- 1/2 mile south of 1-270) where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 with Pastor Karl Gaston of Linden Lutheran Church officiating.
