JOHNSON Jerry C. Johnson, 74, of Columbus, Ohio and Venice, Florida, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Ann's Hospital. Born in Columbus, July 14, 1938 to the late Karl Johnson Sr. and Margaret Johnson. Also preceded in death by brother Karl Johnson Jr. and sister-in-law Ruth. Survived by daughter, Karen (Johnson) Lusk and son-in-law Wayne of Columbus; son, Brian Johnson and daughter-in-law Wendy of Grove City; grandchildren, Emily and Alexander Johnson; sister, Diane (Johnson) Line and brother-in-law, Ron of Cincinnati; niece, Pam (David) Wilson; nephews Jeff (Kristin) and Michael (Krista) Line; cousins, Judy Hearing, Carole (Gene) Altvater, Jack (Nancy) and David (Eilene) Bainter; dear friends and neighbors of 45 years Bob and Sandy Dunlap, and many other family members and friends. Graduated from Circleville H.S. in 1956. He served two years in the Army Reserve. Retired from Rose Products and Services as a Sales Representative where he won numerous sales contests during a 40-year career. He enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, the beach, golfing, music, and playing the drums. He became skilled at grafting fruit trees, raising a single apple tree with 104 varieties. The family expresses heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Ann's for their loving care of Jerry during the past few weeks. Calling hours are 7-9 p.m. Friday, December 28, where a memorial celebration of life will also be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, December 29 at Southwest Grace, 3989 Neff Rd., Grove City, OH, Pastor Tom Gale officiating. A graveside ceremony will be at 11 a.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington, followed by a reception lunch at Southwest Grace.
