Verna Mae Jones, age 60, of 48 W. Dunedin Road. Died Monday at the residence. Survived by husband, John L. Jones; sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Denise Jones, Columbus and David and Nancy Jones, San Francisco; 3 grandchildren. She was a member of the Barbara Wilson Circle of North Boradway United Methodist Church, Columbus Chapter of DAR and Damen-choir. Funeral service 1 p.m. Thursday at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Earrol Rohr officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
