Preceded in death by parents Fred and Elizabeth Koenig. Survived by wife, Hilda; son, Mark J. Koenig; daughter, Mrs. Lester (Sherri) Stuewer Jr. of Houston, Tex.; granddaughters, Erin and Kerry Stuewer; brother, Robert (Joan) Koenig; sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Nentwich and Dixie Koenig; sister-in-law, Grace Gruner. Member and past Master, York Lodge, No. 563 F&AM, Valley of Columbus, AASR, Downtown High Twelve, Columbus Maennerchor. Veteran of WWII. Graduate of Ohio State University and a member of the ushering crew at Ohio Stadium for 40 years. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Robert K. Chiles officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Ohio Masonic Home Endowment Fund.
