William Clarence Maddox, DDS, age 65, of Worthington, Tuesday, April 6, 1993 at The Ohio State University Hospital. Survived by wife, Roberta Lee; son, Rick William (Sandy) of Frankfort, Ky.; daughters, Marjorie Lee of Lock Haven, Pa. And Winifred Ann (Jeff) Silvey of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Timothy and Hannah Maddox. Received his B.Sc. In Education, DDS, and MS from the Ohio State University. Former Assistant Professor, OSU College of Dentistry. Former District Commissioner Central Ohio Council - Boy Scouts of American and a WWII US Navy veteran. Member American Academy of Pedodontics; past President, Ohio Society of Pedodontitst, Pierre Fauchhard Academy, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American and Ohio State Dental Associations. Member Professional Photographers of Ohio, National Press Photographers Association and staff photographer for "This Week". Member of VFW, Phi Delta Theta, Psi Omega, Alpha Phi Omega and OSU Faculty Club. Member Grace Brethren Church, Worthington-Galena Road at Lazelle Road, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 1993 with Pastor James Custer officiating. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to William Maddox Memorial Fund c/o Grace Brethren Church.
