McCONNELL Dorotha Rose McConnell (Graham) joined us on this earth in Bluefield, Virginia to parents Ethel Graham Caudill and Wallace Graham. She left the loving arms of her family on April 9, 2004 to be reunited with her loved ones in heaven. Preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Arthur Caudill, and sister Margaret Louise Ackison. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, John; sister, Marie Graham Krause; children, Michael (Maricela) McConnell, Thomas (Eileen) McConnell, James Anthony (Rebecca) McConnell, H. Timothy (Janet) McConnell; and grandchildren, Mark (Angela), Anthony James, David, Kegan, Elissa, Raven, Sarah, Daniella, and John; nieces and nephews, Renette (Allen) Wooten, Yvette (James) Cox, Jacqueline (Ludo) Wurfbain, Graham (Andi) Krause, and Lisa Marie (Michael) Lerner. Dorotha's first job was as the Society Editor of the Ironton Tribune. She retired from Ridgeview Middle School after many years of serving the Columbus Public School system as a secretary. Many lives were touched due to her devotion. She remained active with golf, bowling, walking, gardening and traveling with her husband and friends. Her greatest love was her family. Her smile and hugs will be missed by all. The family will receive friends Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High St., Worthington. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to Riverside Hospice or the Worthington Presbyterian Church.
