Ruth Janet McCoy, 91, passed away on April 11, 2016. She was born on October 27, 1924. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Edward McCoy. She will be greatly missed by her children Jeff McCoy and Sally Jo Ware; grandchildren Charity, Nicole and Kyle; and great grandchildren Noah, Brooke and Ava. Ruth was a volunteer for the Cancer Society Thrift Store, and was active with Stephen Ministry and the Historical Society. She loved to knit, read, travel, cook and antique. She was also a member of Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 South Sunbury Road, Westerville, where her funeral will be held at 1pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the Ellsworth Chapel with Reverend David Redding officiating. Visiting hours will be held from 11am until the time of the service at the church. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Cancer Society by going to www.cancer.org
