Denver A. McGhee, age 88, of Delaware, Thursday, January 25, 2001 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was retired from NCR Corp. and was a WWII US Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lettie McGhee and brothers James and Max McGhee. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy (Collins) McGhee; daughters, Bonnie Domon of Calif., Shannon (Tom) Weakland of Delaware and Patti (Frank) Orders of Powell; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Charles McGhee; sisters, Delia Chasteen and Bonnie Jones; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. McGhee was a 50 plus year member of New England Lodge #4 F&AM and a member of the Scioto Consistory, AASR, Valley of Columbus, Worthington Chapter #287 OES, Utopian Grange, Worthington Christian Church and also attended First Baptist Church of Delaware. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2001 at Worthington Christian Church, 8145 N. High St., Worthington with Dr. Marshall Hayden and Pastor Jim Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Monday. Family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to Grady Memorial Hospice c/o Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, Ohio.
