McLANE Richard W. McLane, age 76, of Worthington, died Friday, January 20, 2006 at his home. Richard was a retired meat cutter with the Home Market and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Olive (Bartley) and Leon George, sisters Arlene George and Rebecca Beck. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly; children, Bartley L and Shannon McLane; grandchildren, Tatina, Tusni and Tarne Tassniyom; aunt, Nellie Bartley and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, with Rev. Alan Sippel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until service time. A private family interment will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Capitol Area Humane Society or to the charity of ones choice.
