Glenn W. Miller, age 78. Died Monday, April 24, 1989. Resident of Friendship Village, of Dublin. A. Professor Emeritus of Economics at the Ohio State University and Wichita State University. Survived by wife, Cornelia Y. Miller and daughter, Ellen Miller Mumma, Cutler, Ohio. He received his Bachelors education, Southern Illinois University, MA and PhD Degrees in Economics at University of Illinois. He was a visiting professor at Michigan State, U of Arizona, U of British Columbia, Kenyon College and Ohio Wesleyan U. An author of 3 books, co-author of 2, and numerous articles. Many years of membership in numerous economics and arbitration professional organizations, years of arbitration and mediation of labor disputes, principle economist, War Manpower Commission, member of Minimum Wage Board of Ohio, and member of Worthington School Board. Served as Caption in the Marine Corps Reserves during WWII. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where friends may call from 1 p.m. Thursday until time of service. Rev. Donald Gorbett officiating.
