Carolyn Dickerson Minus, age 52, of Worthington and South Orleans, Ma., Monday, March 7, 1994 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Minus received her BA degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. and her MA degree from The Ohio State University. From 1968-1976 she served as Program Executive for the Women's Division of the Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church in New York City, NY, 1978-1985 served as the Associate General Secretary for the Board of Church & Society of the United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. Since 1981 Mrs. Minus has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Alban Institute in Washington, D.C. 1988-1992 was the Chairman of the Board of Church & Society of the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. From 1992 to present, served as the Vice Chairman of the Bishops Advisory Committee, President of the United Methodist Women & a member of the Administrative Board of the Worthington United Methodist church and since 1984 was a member of the Council for Ethnics in Economics. Mrs. Minus is survived by her husband, Paul M. Minus; sons, Andrew McIntyre, of Worthington, David M. (Hae Lim) Minus and Stephen K. (Jill) Minus; grandson, Justin Minus, all of San Francisco, Calif.; parents, Lucius and Marietta Dickerson, of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; brother, Peter A. (Mary) Dickerson, of Annapolis, Md.; sister, Alice Dickerson (Norman) Hatt, of Syracuse, N.Y.; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Browning Lounge of the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington on Tuesday, March 9, 1994 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 1994 at the Worthington United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert K. Chiles, Rev. C. Joseph Sprague, Dr. Loren Mean and Ms. Peggy Billings officiating. A private interment will be held Thursday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Carolyn D. Minus Memorial Fund, c/o Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Arrangements completed by the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Ohio.
