Employed Dresser Industries for 24 years. Was a Registered Professional Engineer. Member of the American Society for Metals, the American Welding Society. He was a certified welding inspector. Member of the Republican National Committee and the Gallion Country Club. Served in the US Air Corp. WWII. Preceded in death by mother, Eldora Noethlich. Survived by wife, Clarissa (Ditty) Noethlich; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ronald Davis, of Euclid, Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Benita Noethlich and David and Roberta (Bobbi) Noethlich, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Geoff and Dory Davis and Shannon and Lindsay Noethlich; father, Richard M. Noethlich Sr., of Zephyrhills, Fla.; brother, Robert Noethlich, of Ottawa Lake, Mich., Jack Noethlich, of Universal City, Tex., James Noethlich, of Salem, N.H. and Neal Noethlich, of Bernardsville, N.J. Friends may call at the Southwick Funeral Home, 3100 N. High St., Sunday 7-9 p.m., Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where service will be held from the Southwick Memorial Chapel, Tuesday 1 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Vicar Paul Brandes officiating.
