Jean B. Ogg, age 78 at Whetstone Gardens, July 1, 2000. Preceded in death by devoted husband John R. Ogg last November. Her late parents and brother were the owners of the Birnie Drugstore which was a landmark in Worthington in the '40s and '50s. Jean was a retired reference librarian from the Worthington Public Library and English teacher at Worthington Junior High School. Survived by daughter, Candy Fowler of Arlington; sons, Robin of Mill Valley, Calif. and Alex of Broome, West Australia. Memorial service to be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friends of Worthington Public Library or Liberty Presbyterian Church, 7080 Olentangy River Rd., Delaware.
