Morris (Frenchie the Tailor) Pearson, age 94 of Worthington, Ohio, November 21, 1989 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was the son of David and Bessie Present, born in Kolk, Poland. He was founder of French Tailors, 26 S. Front Street since 1919 and was semi-retired. A business continued by son, David and wife Elsie. He joined the 38th Battaliono of the Kings Royal Fusiliers of Great Britain, April 27, 1916 in St. Louis an served in WWI through France , Italy, Egypt and the Middle Est. Discharged as a Sergeant, January 11, 1920. He served with the 42nd Rainbow Division and with the Ohio National Guard 37th Division. Preceded in death by first wife, Marie Pearson. Survived by wife, Virginia; sons, Morris Jr. (Peggy) of Wheaton, MD, Harry I., Joseph (Joann), Robert (Marjorie S.), David (Elsie) and Eugene, all of Columbus; daughters, Louise Pearson, Washington, D.C. and Roberta J. (Randy) Puckett of Schofield, WI; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Member of Downtown Lions Club, American Legion Post No. 1, Forty and Eight. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, November 24 at Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington, where friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and 1 hour prior to service on Friday. Rev.
