Abner N. Pinney, age 44, of W. Granville Road, Worthington. Thursday, May 18, 1989, Kobacker House. Owner and operator, long distance trucking and formerly associated with Bob Keim Ford. Survived by wife, Judith (Shoemaker) Pinney; son, Michael A. Pinney, Columbus; step-children, Ed Johnston, Worthington, Cynthia Diamond, Marysville; grandchildren, Janice, Shawn, David, Jennifer, Jessica, Ricky and Nicole; aunt Mrs. Clairanna McClung, Spencer, WV; several cousins. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church, New England Lodge No. 4 F&AM. Past patron Corinthian Chapter No. 393 OES, 46 Club, Worthington Historical Society and Old Worthington Association. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Lorrin Kreider and Rev. George Parkinson officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
