He is the first Worthington policeman to retire from the city after a full term in law enforcement in 1981. A dedicated and loyal officer, he gave the Division of Police a certain expertise that was invaluable in many areas, apart from the routine functions. Lt. Reeves was the first local officer assigned to full-time investigation and Worthington's first juvenile officer. He is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Society for the Scientific Detection of Crime and of the Franklin County Law Enforcement Association. Preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Frances. Survived by three children, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
